Kathakali is one of the main art form being born and popularized. In ancient days, Kathakali the art form got venues only in palace stages. In those era, The local kings are the main enjoyers of Kathakali. They effort very much to promote Kathakali in every aspect. Initially in those days of long ago, kathakali has only a limited audience. The Kathakali in full length is about 5 days. Its reality, the kathakali needs a span of 5 days to finish the play. The Kathkali artists have considered as the men behind a noble and dominant art form and they enjoyed the love and honor o the art lovers. The Kathakali has stories from mythology and from Hindu classics. The stories have taken from Ramayana and Mahabharatha are subjected to Kathakali and it’s like “Nala Damayanti”, “Kalyana Sougandhikam” and “Lanka Dahanam” etc, are popular. Karhakali has hundreds of “Mudras”and those who know the mudras could get the maximum enjoyments from Kathakali
